Panbu is a quiet village in the Kalimpong hills, surrounded by forests and cardamom plantations. The village is known for its peaceful atmosphere and the traditional lifestyle of its residents, who are primarily engaged in agriculture and cardamom cultivation.
Forest & Cardamom
The forests around Panbu are excellent for nature walks, with trails leading through cardamom groves and mixed forests. The cardamom harvest season (August–October) is a particularly interesting time to visit, when the entire village is engaged in harvesting and processing the spice.
